During the first quarter of each year, our team of advisors and staff hosts a food drive in our office to benefit the Houston Food Bank. Annually we donate almost 200 pounds of food.

The Houston Food Bank is a private non-profit organization that has been feeding Houston's families in need since 1982. The Houston Food Bank is now the nation’s largest Feeding America food bank and is a source of food for hunger relief charities in 18 southeast Texas counties. In 2011 alone, the Houston Food Bank distributed 70 million pounds of food to more than 865,000 different people.

During the fourth quarter each year, we collect new, unwrapped toys to be given as Christmas presents to needy children in our community through the Marine Toys 4 Tots Foundation.

The Marines began collecting toys in 1947 and in their more than 60 year history, they have distributed 400 million toys to over 188 million needy children.

Last year our team donated more than 100 individual toys, including two bicycles.
