Ameriprise created the Client Experience Survey to give clients an opportunity to rate their satisfaction with their assigned financial advisor using a scale of 1 to 5. Each client has an opportunity to access the Ameriprise Secure Client Site and provide a rating. The client satisfaction score is an average of client responses for that advisor within a rolling 24-month period and is updated daily. There is no minimum number of responses required for an advisor to receive a rating, and advisors may have received unfavorable ratings. Client experiences may vary, and working with any Ameriprise advisor is not a guarantee of future financial results. Investors should not consider the Client Experience Survey score a substitute for their own research and evaluation of an advisor’s qualifications.
Forbes rankings are developed by SHOOK Research and are created using analgorithm that includes both qualitative (in-person, virtual and telephone duediligence meetings; client impact; industry experience; review of bestpractices and compliance records; and firm nominations) and quantitative(assets under management and revenue generated for their firms) data.Investment performance is not a criterion because client objectives and risktolerances vary, and advisors rarely have audited performance reports. Certainawards include a demographic component to qualify. These rankings for eachapplicable year are based on the opinions of SHOOK Research, LLC, are notindicative of future performance or representative of any one client’sexperience and are based on data from the previous two calendar years.
