I love the great outdoors, especially Puget Sound beaches and everything Seattle has to offer.

I also believe in directly impacting society. In 2010 and 2011, I was a foster parent for a young man and guided him through his high school graduation.

Community participation

Since January 1st, 2019 I have had the honor of serving as President of Congregation Ezra Bessaroth Synagogue in the Seward Park neighborhood.

From 2012-2015 - I served as the president of the Washington State Jewish Historical Society. During that time, we launched numerous programs and captured compelling stories from years gone by.

From 2005-2007 - I served on the board of the Municipal League, a non-partisan voter advocacy group.
