Social Security: Preparing for Retirement.
During this complimentary session, we’ll address important components of Social Security benefits. We'll talk about how Social Security benefits are calculated and discuss options for anyone who has ever been married, as well as the role of taxes and your retirement plan. We’ll also look at the newly passed Social Security Fairness Act, which may increase Social Security benefits for people with a non-covered pension through the elimination of the Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP) and the Government Pension Offset (GPO).
