Building Your Financial Future with Integrity

What does a financial advisor really do?

How do I know if I’m ready for retirement?

What’s the best way to protect my wealth or pass it on to my family?

These are the questions we hear every day -and the ones we love answering.

At Huddleston & Associates, serving Greenville and the Greater Upstate South Carolina area: Simpsonville, Mauldin, Greer, Taylors, Easley, Anderson, and Clemson. Our approach to financial planning starts with listening. Your goals, your concerns, your vision for the future matter most.

My philosophy is simple: treat others the way I’d want to be treated. That means honesty, accessibility, and attention to detail, because I believe details make the difference between average and exceptional. I’m committed to giving my all, doing what I say I’ll do, and never stopping in the pursuit of better. Whether that’s adopting technology that benefits you, refining strategies, or expanding knowledge, improvement is part of our DNA.

We help clients answer big questions:

How much do I need to retire comfortably?

What’s the smartest way to invest after an inheritance or divorce?

How do I create income I can count on?

Our mission is to help you feel more confident and in control of your financial future with personalized strategies that help grow and preserve your wealth.

If you’re ready for more clarity and a partner who cares, let’s start your journey today.

Confidence for Life’s Biggest Decisions

One of the most meaningful experiences I’ve had was helping a widowed client who faced a life-changing decision: whether to move into a retirement community. He wanted to make the choice himself, not leave it for his daughters later. Together, we reviewed his financial picture, discussed his personal preferences, and explored options that aligned with his resources and goals. The transition wasn’t easy, but he flourished in his new home. Later, he told me our conversations helped give him more confidence to take that step and even consider other important details he hadn’t thought of before. For me, financial planning is about helping people feel secure and empowered to make decisions that truly improve their lives.

Community matters.

That’s why I’m committed to supporting meaningful initiatives throughout Greenville and the Upstate South Carolina area, including Simpsonville, Mauldin, Greer, Taylors, Easley, Anderson, and Clemson. Through partnerships with organizations like Harvest Hope, ReCraft Creative Reuse Center, and Upstate Fatherhood Coalition, I strive to make a positive impact: helping fight hunger, promote sustainability, and strengthen families. Giving back is part of who I am. I’m honored to serve as Treasurer on two of these boards, ensuring that resources are managed responsibly to maximize the good we can do together.

Interests

  • Amateur computer technician. I like to pick the hardware for my personal computer and assemble it myself.
  • Video gaming. I grew up when the original Game Boy and the Nintendo Entertainment System were popular. While I do not have much time to play anymore, I like following upcoming releases and getting together with friends for the occasional video game night.
