My approach

There are many financial advisors that have niches in specific markets, for me it is financial planning for families with children with Special Needs.

My definition of special needs includes individuals that may not be financially independent throughout their lives. This would likely include family members with one of the following: Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Bipolar, Asperger Syndrome or other special needs.

I have 22 years experience in the financial securities industry and have focused on Special Needs Planning for over 10 years. Personally, I was inspired by my daughter and her background in Special Education. It made me realize that there was a need for serving this community as families in these situations may need customized financial planning.

I look to help ensure families are informed on the types of government assistance that may be available to them. I help families plan for not one, but two generations. I can work with their attorneys to setup a financial support plan and recommend investment strategies.

I believe my understanding and passion put me in the forefront of helping provide financial planning for a special needs family member.
