Interests

I am a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin and remain a Longhorn sports fan. I also enjoy spending time in Port Aransas with my wife Cindy, our 3 children and our 2 grandchildren. My youngest son Drew was born with Down Syndrome so I am passionate about helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Cindy and I founded SA Life Academy, a day school for adults with special needs that have "aged out" of the public school system. I am the Treasurer and a Board Member and Cindy serves as the Executive Director. Finally, I try to stay active in our community of Alamo Heights and our church, St. Andrews Methodist.
