My interests are family, reading, gardening, travel and serving on the Boards of local non-profits.
An active member of the Rotary Club of Leesburg for over 25 years, I started the Club's annual New Years Day Race (the REHAU RotaryResolution Race) in 1998. The Race raised nearly $350,000 for local charities. My wife, Carole, and I were Co-Directors of the Race for 20 years.
I am the Chairman of Conversations at Oatlands, a lecture series. Each year this group invites prominent speakers to engage in a "conversation" at Oatlands Plantation, a National Trust property near Leesburg.
