My profile

Financial Planning Rooted in Education

As a Black financial advisor with Kuttin Wealth Management, my approach centers on financial literacy, education, and clear financial planning strategies for federal employees and professionals.

What is my approach to financial planning?

Planning begins with understanding your current situation, goals, and priorities. From there, we explore retirement planning, tax-aware strategies, and long-term wealth building aligned with your needs.

Who do I work with?

I work with federal employees and Black professionals focused on building wealth, preparing for retirement, and strengthening financial knowledge.

Why is financial literacy important?

Financial literacy helps individuals make informed decisions about budgeting, investing, and retirement. My focus is helping clients better understand their options and opportunities.

Personal experiences, including seeing the impact of long-term care needs, shaped my commitment to education and planning. These experiences continue to inform how I approach conversations around protecting assets and planning ahead.

How can financial planning support long-term goals?

Financial planning helps bring structure to saving, investing, and retirement decisions, allowing individuals to align their financial choices with long-term goals and priorities.

If you’re exploring financial planning or looking for a different perspective, I welcome the opportunity to connect and continue the conversation as a Black financial advisor focused on financial literacy.

Community participation

Kuttin Wealth Management - Community participation photo

As a financial advisor serving the D.C, Maryland & Virginia area— I am dedicated to uplifting my community through financial literacy, education, and empowerment. I serve as a deacon and trustee at Beacon Hill Missionary Baptist Church and play an active role in the Northern Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce, supporting local entrepreneurs and small business owners. I believe that building wealth starts with building community, and I am committed to helping families.

Interests

Outside of work, I am actively involved in my local faith community at Beacon Hill Missionary Baptist Church, where I serve as both a deacon and trustee. I enjoy staying active and regularly play basketball with friends at a neighborhood gym. Above all, I find my greatest joy in spending time with my wife and three children, as well as our large extended family. Originally from San Antonio, I cherish every opportunity to return home and visit loved ones.
