Bring an heirloom, antique, or that strange thing you found in the basement to share with the group and our expert appraiser. Swan Hachmeister, Auctioneer with Hack’s Auctions, will lead us through an entertaining evening as he helps us understand and value the unique treasure you’ve brought with you.

Beer, Wine, Soda and Coffee will be served. Cash bar for mixed drinks.

Living WITH the Holidays when someone you love has died- a Holiday Grief Seminar

Please join us with your guests for an informative, humorous and thoughtful evening if someone you love dearly has died or if someone you love- a family member friend or co-worker- is learning to live with the death of a loved one this Holiday Season. Invited guest speaker and best-selling author, Tom Zuba will present “Living WITH the Holidays when someone you lovehas died”. Tom will teach us how we can learn to do more than just “cope with”or “survive” the holidays when someone we love dies. Tom will share practical, concrete, doable tips and suggestions to help you find peace, comfort and connection throughout the holiday season.

Tom Zuba is a life coach, author and speaker teaching people all over the world a new way to do grief. Tom offers those living with death ofsomeone they love the tools, knowledge, and wisdom to create a full, joy-filled life.

In 1990, Tom’s 8 month old daughter, Erin, died suddenly. His 43 year old wife, Trici, died equally as suddenly on New Year’s Day 1999 and his 13 year old son, Rory, died from brain cancer in 2005. Tom and his son, Sean, are exploring life one day at a time in Rockford, Illinois.

Volunteering At The Northern Illinois Food Bank

Please join us at the Food Bank! We’ve reserved 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 28, 2017 for a group of interested volunteers to help sort food at the Northern Illinois Food Bank located at 765 Research Parkway in Rockford, IL. We’ll supply pastries, coffee and juice.

We have space for 40 volunteers. This is a family friendly event. Volunteers can be as young as age 8 (if accompanied by an adult). If you have friends, neighbors, or other family members who want to join, feel free to extend an invitation. This event is great for kids who need volunteer hours.

Since space is limited, please RSVP by Monday, October 23rd. You can respond via phone at 815-708-6112 or e-mail bianca.aguilar@ampf.com if you would like to help. Provide your t-shirt size so we can get you outfitted for this event. (If you have volunteered before, please wear your t-shirt).

According to the Northern Illinois Food Bank, one in seven people in northern Illinois rely on the Northern Illinois Food Bank and its network of community feeding programs.

It’s a rewarding experience to work as a team and give back.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk

In our office, one of our goals is to give back to the community through local events. David and Lori will be supporting the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk once again. This is a cause we feel strongly about and know that breast cancer is something that has touched the lives of clients, friends and family.

We would like to invite you to join us in participating in the walk. This is a family friendly event so feel free to extend the invitation to friends, neighbors or other family member who want to join.

There is no cost to participate and we will be providing hats to wear during the walk.

Check-In/Registration & Opening Ceremonies begin at 8:00A.M. Walk starts at 9:15 A.M.
