Advisor profile

My approach

I take a holistic approach in helping you plan to manage your wealth, and in guiding individuals and families through the technical aspects of comprehensive financial, retirement, estate, and charitable planning.

Throughout your financial planning process, I will provide you with customized financial advice to help you make informed decisions, through all of life's transitions. I'll help you determine your goals, set priorities, gain clarity, and then build a financial plan around the future you envision.

While personal financial management can be a tedious, time-consuming task for many, I make every effort to make the process interactive and enjoyable by taking time to get to know you, your family, your personal values, and your “vision” for how your money can serve those values.

Whether you're just starting your career, or you have complex wealth management needs, I offer a range of services to help you plan thoughtfully, backed by the significant resources of Ameriprise Financial, a Fortune 500 firm serving clients since 1894.

My desire is your financial peace of mind; knowing your hard-earned wealth will focus on serving your family and future well.

Community participation

For the last 27 years I've been blessed by my membership with Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, TX, where I've had the privilege of serving in various ministry positions as a Deacon; Board member of the Prestonwood Church Foundation; and children's, youth & adult Bible study teacher.

Prestonwood holds a special place in my heart because it is where I first learned of God's great love for all of us; and also of the great importance the Bible places on financial stewardship, by referencing money and possessions over 2300 times - more than any other single topic.

Interests

Growing in my relationship with the Lord, my wife, and son; growing professionally to better serve the clients I'm privileged to serve; and working to achieve that ever-elusive balance between family, vocation & community involvement!
