Interests

I'm passionate about the outdoors and enjoy all the seasons here in Michigan. I partially enjoy activities like fishing, boating and birding. I spend a lot of time with my wife, Donna, and our 2 grown children. I find reading relaxing (history in particular) and I'm also active in vintage base ball (base ball was 2 separate words back in the 1860's) which recreates the game of base ball as it was played in the 1860's (no sliding, no spitting, no cursing & no gloves!).

Community participation

Proud member of the Welkin Vintage Base Ball Club of Port Huron, MI where we travel to various sites and recreate the game of base ball as it was played in the 1860's. The Welkin's are part of the Vintage Base Ball Association (VBBA.org).

I am also honored to be on the Board of Directors, the acting President, of the Logan Hills Association in Ogemaw County. The volunteers elected to the association are responsible for maintaining, improving & other measures necessary to maintain the value & promote the general welfare of the area around our lake.

Professional associations

  • Oakland University Alumni
