My approach

While many people have financial advisors, money remains the #1 cause of stress in America. Meaning, the old Wall Street approach doesn’t seem to be working. I am striving to change that, by not only being really good at the numbers, but by going beyond the numbers-to help with the things my clients say are the most meaningful- their goals, their dreams, their aspirations. The things, that as time passes, will help take how they see their lives from “Success to Significance”.

“I always tell people if you want to know the secret to happiness, I can give it to you in one word: progress.”

—Tony Robbins

Holistic Financial Planning is why I exist—to help my clients achieve their highest levels of confidence and make the biggest Impact possible on their family and community. I can help you as well- to identify your family's most meaningful goals and work through a healthy, proven process to achieve them. And, more importantly, to provide the time and freedom to focus on your most cherished relationships, whether it be your spouse, your kids, your parents, or childhood friends.

“A dream written down with a date becomes a goal. A goal broken down into steps becomes a plan. Aplan backed by action makes your dreams come true.”

—Greg Reid

Community participation

I have a few passions when it comes to the community:

  • Helping underprivileged youth in the local area: I go into local schools to teach kids about money and help them prepare for college and beyond by connecting them with successful mentors in the Seattle and Bellevue business community.
  • Providing mentorship: I was in the Big Brothers program when I was a kid, and 12 years ago became a Big brother to Blake, who is now a smart, funny, and caring adult.
  • Helping kids learn the Wealth Mindset: money isn't taught in schools, which is largely why 80% of Millenials can't pass a basic financial literacy test. I go into classrooms to change this.

A few things I love:

  • My 3 kids: Finn, Dane, and Anika
  • Travelling with my kids: my oldest has 24 passport stamps. Our favorites include Dubai, Costa Rica, Canary Islands, and Cambodia
  • Growing: as a parent, a leader of our amazing Team, and advisor to our amazing clients
  • Exercise: I am slightly addicted, having only missed 7 days in 2019

A few things I want to do more of:

  • I have my Pilots License and want to fly more
  • Spend more time with my Little brother- Blake- from the Seattle Big Brothers Big Sisters program
  • Backpacking, rock climbing, camping, and long hikes with my kids
