Dr. Brooks has his Ph.D. in clinical psychology and is on the faculty at Harvard Medical School. He served as Director of the Psychology Department at McLean Hospital, a private psychiatric facility, and has written 18 books including The Power of Resilience: Achieving Balance, Confidence and Personal Strength in your Life” and “Raising Resilient Children.’’
