DESCRIPTION:We invite you to volunteer with us at Connecticut Foodsharein Bloomfield on February 22, 2022. Our team members, along with our clients,will volunteer side by side from 8:30-11:30 am to help Connecticut Foodsharesort their incoming food donations.  Helping our communities to “live their best life” through ConnecticutFoodshare’s programs aimed at alleviating hunger is the reason we find thisprogram so appealing. Our clients who have volunteered with us think so too! Oneof our clients enjoyed himself so much, he has since become a regular volunteerat Connecticut Foodshare.   Connecticut Foodshare supports individuals and families – from one end of the state to the other – by addressing root causes, creating long-term solutions, and distributing nutritious food through local partner programs in an effort to alleviate hunger. If you would like to bring your children, those ages 12 to 15 may volunteer alongside an adult and those 16 and up may volunteer on their own.
