Community participation

  • I recently completed two 3 year terms on the board of directors for a local non-profit organization called Hope Connections for Cancer Support. Hope Connections provides help to people with cancer and their loved ones dealing with the emotional and physical toll that comes with a cancer diagnosis.
  • I serve on the advisory board for the Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences (IEMS) Department of the McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.
  • My team and I have volunteered at So Others Might Eat (SOME) in the District of Columbia and plan to continue our volunteer efforts with that organization.
