Interests

With backyard get togethers about to start, I thought I would share the Elks Lodge Steak Recipe. This recipe has been tinkered with and perfected over many years and thousands of steaks.

Rub steak with Canadian Steak seasoning found at Gordon Foods.

Let the steak sit with the rub on both sides for at least 1/2 hour at room temperature.

Spray or brush on a mixture of 50% sweet vermouth and 50% Worcestershire sauce on the top of the steak and place on grill with the sprayed side down then spray or brush mix on the side facing up.

This mix will caramelize the outside, add flavor, and seal in the juice of the steak.

I hope you enjoy it!
