Interests

I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and experiencing new people and places. My favorite time of the year is fall because I love football! Most Saturdays you will find me glued to ESPN Game Day or heading to Tuscaloosa to visit my son and daughter and to cheer on the Crimson Tide. I like to read and reading while relaxing on the beach is even better. I try to make time each week for plenty of exercise and love to entertain our friends.

Community participation

As the parent of a Type 1 diabetic, I am a passionate supporter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. My husband and I helped organize the first JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes in Dothan. I am a member of Covenant United Methodist Church where I have served in the Praise and Worship Band and on various committees. We support the Southeast Health Foundation, United Way, Saliba Center for Families, and several local missions.
