What Motivates Me

I’m passionate about helping the 30- and 40-somethings of our Islands ensure that they can succeed financially without having to leave home. There are so many factors to navigate: from high cost of living, to scarcity of affordable housing, to being able to raise a family, to student debt management. I want to be your guide, shining a light on the path towards financial freedom.

The same goes for any season of life. If you are a few years away from retirement or already retired but not sure if what you’ve saved will last your lifetime, I want to walk there with you. You and I will see what your current probability of success is and how we can help improve it. For your comfortable retirement and for the legacy you dream of leaving.

  • I co-lead our Entertaining Angels team, which serves a full meal every Saturday afternoon near Kaka'ako Waterfront Park.
  • I'm blessed to be able to serve with Paige as a part of Kaka'ako Kupuna and the Calabash Ohana and Food for 500 ministries. One Tuesday every month, we gather at Na Lei Hulu Kupuna for dinner and Bingo. "O-65!"
  • I serve on the Civic Engagement Committee with the HI CoC's YP program.

Interests

With the arrival of our son, Desmond, in May of 2023, my wife (Paige) and I have mainly been focused on getting to know and love him! All three of us were born and raised in Honolulu on Oahu. The beach and hiking adventures with our dog Keanu will have to wait!

On Saturdays (and other days), I lead houseless faith-based outreach ministries (Entertaining Angels and Family Promise). I also am privileged to participate in kupuna care ministries (Kaka'ako Kupuna).

We spend time hosting and organizing game nights and dinners with friends and family both in town and in Wahiawa (Paige's folks).
