Equity Compensation Planning | My Approach

I work primarily with high-earning professionals and executives who receive equity compensation as a meaningful part of their income. That often includes RSUs, stock options, ESPPs, bonuses, and other forms of variable compensation that can create both opportunity and complexity. My approach is to help clients make better decisions by bringing structure to the moving parts: tax planning, cash flow, concentrated stock exposure, diversification, and long-term wealth planning.

Rather than treating each vesting date, grant, or bonus as a separate event, I believe these decisions should be coordinated within a broader strategy. The focus is not just on understanding how equity compensation works, but on how it fits into the client’s full financial picture so they can act with clarity, reduce avoidable mistakes, and move forward with greater confidence.

Structure for Equity Compensation Decisions

When equity compensation becomes a meaningful part of your income or net worth, decisions around RSUs, stock options, ESPPs, taxes, and diversification deserve more than a one-off answer. The risk is not just making one bad move. It is making a series of disconnected decisions without a clear plan. This page is designed to help you see how those pieces fit together so you can approach them with more structure and confidence through equity compensation planning.
