My approach

I believe people make financial decisions based on water cooler talk—gut instinct input from unqualified friends & family, not tailored to individuals & loaded with behavioral biases—with no idea on the financial ramifications that their decisions may have.

My process is quite the contrary. I help you establish a road map of financial goals, & work towards them, exploring every route available. I'm not going to take you down a path to find a collapsed bridge. Everything I do is built on core foundations, solidified by concrete dirt under the nails research, & stress tested for points of weakness.

Emotional based investing can be risky. I believe bad short-term decisions can have a drastic impact on long-term success. Acting rashly can derail & cripple financial plan progress. I try to help you plan for the foreseen & unforeseen, doing our best to mitigate the downside while looking to improve the upside.

In a marketplace filled with irrationality, it can be difficult to find one's way. Don’t gamble with your future—plan it every step of the way.

Born and raised Cleveland Ohio sports fan. Yes...I know what you may be thinking...but my only response is, there's always next year! Roll tribe, let's go Cavs, and here we go Brownies here we go!

Outside of work, I enjoy relaxing and spending time with family and friends. I like to keep my mind busy by reading and finding projects to occupy my time. I love golfing, hiking, kayaking, wakeboarding, grilling out, and really just about anything that involves the outdoors in the summer. In the winter, I love to ski, snowboard and snowshoe. I'm also a certified scuba diver and will never pass an opportunity to submerge into the depths.

Cognitive Dissonance

We are taught early on that behavior is everything. What may be appropriate in one environment may not be appropriate in another, i.e. bathroom humor at the dinner table. The same concept can be applied to the markets.

We believe that by not being fully aware of the environment you're operating in, & not maintaining a consistent market temperament for that respective environment, short-term price swings & market volatility may cause individuals to crystalize poor decisions like buying high & selling low. A one-step down &two-steps up market is still positive performance, so why panic?

We believe that we can help you distinguish between various market climates & help you proactively respond to changing conditions.
