Community participation

I am an Assistant Scoutmaster for Scout Troop 439. I believe it is important to teach youth leadership skills along with fostering a love and respect for the outdoors. I have been fortunate to see many of the scouts I have worked with over the years to attain the rank of Eagle Scout and go on to become confident successful adults.

I am also a member of our local Kiwanis Club. Their dedication to improving the lives of children one community at a time meshes with my involvement in our local Scouting units. Our youth is our future and they are worth the investment of time and treasure.
