1. Reading: I never want to stop learning. For this reason, my goal is to read one book per month, primarily on topics such as Business, Leadership, Personal Growth, & Faith. I recently completed Shoe Dog, by Phil Knight, about the founding of Nike. I enjoyed the history–much of it local–as well as the business aspects and involvement of certain sports figures in their growth.

2.Gardening: I love to watch things grow . My latest focus is ornamental grasses.

3. Running: Some people might call it "shuffling,” but I enjoy setting goals, planning/training to meet those goals, and the thrill that comes along with pursuit of those outcomes.

Community participation

I serve on the Elder Board at Faith Evangelical Free Church in Dallas, OR, along with various ministries the church either promotes or supports. .
