Community participation

Having served on the board of one homeowner's association as both vice-president and president, on the finance committee of my college's athletic department, done committee work at two golf clubs, and done both committee work and served on the board of a third golf club I have officially retired from community service. It was a lot of fun and time well spent. But it was more than time for me to pass that torch on to the next generation to ensure that new and fresh ideas are introduced.

Interests

After spending 40 years as a financial advisor I am lucky to say that there is nothing that I would rather have done in my life...and nothing that I would rather do in the future. However, all work and no play makes "Rick" a dull boy so I do have other interests. My wife, Debbie, and I have built our future retirement home in Payson, AZ. It is in a beautiful golf community named Chaparral Pines on the first hole. Golf is our favorite pastime and we are only 125 yards from the practice green and driving range. We also enjoy an annual "road trip" to sightsee and a trout fishing trip every couple of years to Diamond Lake in Southern OR.
