  • Travel: I have been to 6 of the 7 continents and love exploring new places with my wife, Sonja.
  • Gardening: Sonja and I love to grow our own organic fruits and veggies.
  • Family: Sonja and I are from Seattle and love spending time with our respective families here in the Pacific Northwest.

Community participation

    I am an active volunteer and mentor for underprivileged youth through S.O.S. (Ski and Snowboard Outreach Society) We coordinate with local youth groups and school programs to teach kids how to ski and snowboard. We incorporate education about life skills, ethics and discipline, while also requiring kids to complete several community volunteer projects in order to “earn their turns”.
