  • I am originally from Coquille, OR but I grew up in Yuba City, CA and I moved to Houston, TX in 2002.
  • Physical fitness and healthy living are very important to me.
  • I regularly participate in marathons and triathlons.
  • I have volunteered with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Team In Training since 2008. I am currently an Assistant Coach for the Nations Triathalon event.
  • I have been a Committeeman with the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo since 2007, currently serving on the Horspitality Committee.
  • I was an Officer in the United States Army, serving five years with honors.

I actively participate in the fundraising efforts of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, locally and nationally, and serve on the Committee for the annual Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, one of the largest youth scholarship programs in the world.
