Honeycomb began with a relationship built on trust. Before Brian Bruce joined Brady Brunsvold as a financial advisor, Brian had been Brady's client for many years. That experience gave Brian a firsthand look at Brady's approach - listening carefully, explaining complex decisions clearly and following through for the people he served. When the opportunity arose to work together, the transition from a longstanding client relationship to a professional partnership felt natural.
After joining forces, Brady and Brian became known around the office as the "Killer Bees." The nickname was lighthearted, but the idea behind it fit - they brought energy, focus and complementary strengths to their work. More importantly, they believed that their clients received better advice when a team worked together on their behalf.
When it came time to name their practice, Honeycomb Financial Strategies stuck. A honeycomb is built thoughtfully, one piece at a time, with every part connected and working together. We think a strong financial plan should work the same way - your investments, retirement income, tax considerations, protection strategies and long-term goals should support one another as part of a coordinated plan.
