Ameriprise created the Client Experience Survey to give clients an opportunity to rate their satisfaction with their assigned financial advisor using a scale of 1 to 5. Each client has an opportunity to access the Ameriprise Secure Client Site and provide a rating. The client satisfaction score is an average of client responses for that advisor within a rolling 24-month period and is updated daily. There is no minimum number of responses required for an advisor to receive a rating, and advisors may have received unfavorable ratings. Client experiences may vary, and working with any Ameriprise advisor is not a guarantee of future financial results. Investors should not consider the Client Experience Survey score a substitute for their own research and evaluation of an advisor’s qualifications.
TIME magazine partnered with Statista to recognize America’s Most Iconic Companies, chosen based on an independent survey of roughly 10,000 participants. Ameriprise Financial, Inc. was the highest ranked diversified financial services firm in the ranking and its overall ranking was #48 out of 250 companies across all industry sectors. Eligible companies (founded and headquartered in the United States, with a market presence of at least 10 years.) were evaluated from July to August 2025, across several key categories: Recognition and familiarity, cultural significance and impact, emotional connection, resilience, Americanness, presence and legacy. The Five Star Wealth Manager award (the “FSWM award”) is administered by Crescendo Business Services, LLC (dba Five Star Professional). Data for the FSWM award was gathered during the current or prior year. Wealth managers do not pay a fee to be considered or placed on the final list of Five Star Wealth Managers. Once awarded, wealth managers may purchase marketing materials from Five Star Professional, including additional profile ad space or promotional products. Eligibility criteria – required: 1. Credentialed as a registered investment adviser or a registered investment adviser representative; 2. Actively licensed as a registered investment adviser or as a principal of a registered investment adviser firm for a minimum of 5 years; 3. Favorable regulatory, complaint, employment, bankruptcy and felony review (as defined by Five Star Professional); 4. Fulfilled their firm review based on internal standards; 5. Accepting new clients. Evaluation criteria – considered: 6. One-year client retention rate; 7. Five-year client retention rate; 8. Noninstitutional discretionary and/or non-discretionary client assets administered; 9. Number of client households served; 10. Education and professional designations. FSWM award candidates are identified by one of three sources: firm nomination, peer nomination or pre-qualification based on industry standing. The Ameriprise Client Experience Award is earned by a practice based on four measurable statistics that reflect the value of goal-based advice to our clients: Client Experience Rating; percentage of clients over a certain asset level in Advice Relationships; percentage of clients over a certain asset level with regular contact and, once the practice has exceeded a minimum amount of Net Flows, the percentage of Net Flows derived from Assets Under Management.
