The Five Star Wealth Manager award (the “FSWM award”) is administered by Crescendo Business Services, LLC (dba Five Star Professional). Data for the FSWM award was gathered during the current or prior year. Wealth managers do not pay a fee to be considered or placed on the final list of Five Star Wealth Managers. Once awarded, wealth managers may purchase marketing materials from Five Star Professional, including additional profile ad space or promotional products. Eligibility criteria – required: 1. Credentialed as a registered investment adviser or a registered investment adviser representative; 2. Actively licensed as a registered investment adviser or as a principal of a registered investment adviser firm for a minimum of 5 years; 3. Favorable regulatory, complaint, employment, bankruptcy and felony review (as defined by Five Star Professional); 4. Fulfilled their firm review based on internal standards; 5. Accepting new clients. Evaluation criteria – considered: 6. One-year client retention rate; 7. Five-year client retention rate; 8. Noninstitutional discretionary and/or non-discretionary client assets administered; 9. Number of client households served; 10. Education and professional designations. The Ameriprise Ultimate Digital Excellence Award is an internal award for advisors based on data compiled within the award calendar year. Recipient advisors must meet award thresholds for using digital applications and eSignatures which may change year to year. Advisors may additionally name up to four individuals who were instrumental in achieving the required metrics.
The Ameriprise Client Experience Award is earned by a practice based on four measurable statistics that reflect the value of goal-based advice to our clients: Client Experience Rating; percentage of clients over a certain asset level in Advice Relationships; percentage of clients over a certain asset level with regular contact and, once the practice has exceeded a minimum amount of Net Flows, the percentage of Net Flows derived from Assets Under Management.
