  • St. Charles Parish Department of Community Services — Several years ago, our practice began a partnership with the St. Charles Parish Department of Community Services in conjunction with our Ameriprise National Day of Service and their Thanksgiving Basket Outreach Project. This year we helped build over 300 baskets to assist with the food insecurity challenges in our Parish. The Department of Community Services helps our community in a number of ways, including this ongoing food bank that is supported by Second Harvest.

Interests

  • My older sons are both in the military, so I have great admiration and respect for our men and women in uniform.
  • I am passionate about local and international community service projects and am a member of Rotary International.
  • Being barefoot and working in my garden brings me serenity and calmness.
  • I love hiking, backpacking, canoeing, and anything Mother Nature offers in the form of entertainment.
  • Artistically creative people inspire me. I look forward to having time to work on my woodworking and crafting endeavors.
