Financial responsibility can feel intimidating and overwhelming. The Bedford Group helps manage that responsibility in a way that reduces negative emotions like fear, anxiety, a sense of failure, or impending doom, and seeks to replace them with optimism, the sense of possibility, feelings of accomplishment, peace, and contentment.
We do this by marrying comprehensive, holistic financial planning with highly customized, performance oriented, fee efficient portfolio management, all delivered by a team of capable, experienced professionals with varying and complementary areas of expertise and in a way that’s easy to understand and access.
When we were creating our team, we adopted George Bailey and Bailey Brothers Building and Loan from the movie It’s a Wonderful Life as a metaphorical example of the type of culture we wanted to build for members of the team and for the clients and communities we serve. Values like selflessness, commitment to service, mutual support and respect, and keeping priorities in the right place are ideals that we hope will come to characterize our team over time. To help us stay focused on that goal, we decided to pay homage to the movie by naming the team after Bedford Falls, the fictional home of George Bailey and his friends, family, and business.
