My approach

What do my clients look like?

Most of my clients are small business owners. They wear a lot of hats. I can coordinate with their attorneys, accountants, and insurance agents, so they can focus on growing their business. They might need help setting up retirement plans, designing a strategy to transfer their business at retirement or death, or just saving on taxes.

Other clients come to me following a big life change. For example, the loss of a spouse can be overwhelming for widows, especially if they aren't used to managing the finances. Concerns about how to create an income stream as one nears retirement can be a bit confusing. Even market volatility like we experienced recently can prompt people to reach out for my professional advice.

If these specific examples don't describe you, that's okay! I’ve served a wide variety of clients over the years. Most women and men I work with are ultimately looking to protect and grow their retirement savings and/or income. Most also hope to minimize taxes and leave something for their heirs.

What does my practice look like?

I offer a wide selection of investments and insurance products, and offer financial advice for a flat fee. I strive to provide a flexible, transparent and caring relationship with each of my clients. Prioritizing lifelong learning and training in financial advice helps me provide the value they deserve.

Interests

In the warm months, I enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities, including swimming, boating, biking, gardening, or just relaxing on my deck at home. Year round, you'll often find me walking around Pilger with my spoiled dog, Chase. I like attending yoga and fitness classes at my local community center to make up for all the hours I spend behind a computer. My husband Andy and I like hanging out and laughing with friends, and attending local events to support the towns of Pilger, Wisner, and other communities in Northeast Nebraska. We also enjoy binge-watching TV shows, and taking a short vacation somewhere warm during the winter months.
