Community participation

During my freshman year of college, my best friend Garrett Meriwether tragically was killed by a drunk driver while driving home. To honor his legacy Garrett's parents established the Garrett Meriwether foundation which provides scholarships to Hospitality students attending UNLV. The foundation also provides funding to families living in Las Vegas who cannot afford to bury their children. Each year I assist the family with hosting events to raise awareness to the dangers of drunk driving and also to raise funds for the foundation.Each year I also volunteer with Boys and Girls Clubs to throw an event called Kids night out.

Interests

My interests include finance, sports and spending times with my wife, Chase. I frequently spend time with my immediate family and friends. I like to spend time traveling with Chase and attending sporting events in my free time. I am a huge fan of our Las Vegas sports teams primarily the UNLV Rebels and Vegas Golden Knights. I grew up in the Valley and proudly call Las Vegas home. I frequently make time to keep up on my health by exercising with Chase in the evenings. Most mornings, I enjoy personal development or reading for leisure. On the weekends you may catch me playing volleyball for leisure, watching movies with Chase. or bowling.
