My approach to financial advising starts with a simple belief: listening comes before advising. Some advisors advise without really listening, while others listen but never offer clear direction. What makes an advisor effective is the ability to truly listen, ask questions that move the conversation forward, and then provide advice that fits a client’s specific situation.

Through the planning process, I help clients identify and quantify their goals by asking thoughtful questions and analyzing the details that matter most. That clarity allows me to offer options that help clients make more solid decisions without the guesswork. When clients feel heard and see confidence behind the advice, they can gain more confidence in the choices they’re making for their future.

I often remind clients that a dream written down with a date becomes a goal. A goal broken down into steps becomes a plan. And a plan backed by action makes dreams a reality. Planning only works when it leads to action.

And sometimes the truth is simple: save more, spend less, or ignore the plan at your own risk. My role is to help clients understand their options clearly so action feels intentional, realistic, and aligned with what they want their future to look like.

Clients rarely come in with a single goal, they’re juggling careers, family priorities, retirement questions, and long‑term decisions all at once. My role is to help bring order to that complexity by dividing and prioritizing what matters most. With a strong investment committee supporting the portfolio side of the work, our team works together to create thoughtful, coordinated plans. That collaboration allows me to focus on connecting investment, tax, and retirement strategies, along with life goals into a clear path forward. It’s this team‑based approach that defines how we serve clients at RoseStone Wealth Advisors and helps them move ahead with more confidence.

Community participation

I stay active in the Shreveport community because giving back is at the heart of who I am. Being part of the Louisiana Alliance for Nonprofits and other Community Leaders programs inspire me to learn from others who are committed to making a difference. Supporting the LSU Health Sciences Foundation’s An Evening for Healers, Roy’s Kids, and Parkinson’s Moving Day reminds me how strong and generous our community is. Contributing to these causes gives me purpose and keeps me connected to the people I serve every day.

Interests

  • I played tennis for Centenary College and still try to get out there as often as possible.
  • I love spending time with my three kids more than anything.
  • I am an avid reader of both books and on-line content.
  • Having been born and raised in Shreveport I truly love our city.
