Get started with personalized financial advice


The first step in our financial planning process is an introductory phone call, which usually lasts about 30 minutes. The purpose of this call is to get a feel for your financial situation and concerns, and to see if we might be a good fit.

If appropriate, the next step would be a complimentary initial consultation. Generally, the initial consultation takes 90 minutes. During this time, you can expect us to ask detailed questions about your goals and dreams. We will also go over the wealth management experience you can expect as a client. Please use this opportunity to ask any questions you may have about your situation or about our practice. If you have a significant other, we strongly encourage that he/she attend this consultation as well.

We believe hiring a financial advisor is an important decision, and the purpose of your initial consultation is to see if we can fill that role.

Before we meet, consider these financial questions:
  • What are your most important financial goals right now?
  • What concerns you most about your finances?
  • Did a recent event cause you to seek advice?
  • What are you looking for from a financial advisor?
  • What are you not receiving currently?
To help understand your current financial picture, I may also ask you to bring recent bank and investment statements and insurance policies.
