  • Volunteering with the Latino & Hispanic communities as a Latina financial advisor in Houston Texas, and a descendent of Mexican immigrants Alissa has a passion for giving back to her Hispanic community
  • Houston Food Bank: On an annual basis, she volunteers at the Houston Food Bank helping with sorting produce, weighing produce, packing lunches, etc.
  • SARA Animal Sanctuary: Because of her strong love for animals, she frequently volunteers with animals.
  • Grappling Zone: Alissa volunteers regularly with the children's program mentoring children.

  • Academics: Being the first-generation college graduate in her Hispanic American family Alissa loves academics.
