Our Approach

Financial planning is the process of determining whether an individual can meet life goals given a particular set of strategies or resources when managing their financial resources. We believe financial planning services are critical to the individual and collective financial health of Americans. The financial planning profession provides financial literacy to the public, along with objective methodologies and informed guidance when helping clients make financial decisions.

We believe the secret to making informed financial decisions comes from the formal financial planning process. We’re not saying that you cannot make quality decisions without the process, but we believe that the process gives you an advantage. The advantage is that it allows you to understand the financial impact of a decision prior to taking any action and it allows you to make financial decisions based on facts rather than on emotion and/or intuition.

Our practice provides clients with the opportunity to work with a professional staff toward the achievement of their financial goals. and we use the formal financial planning process as our “blue-print” for client service. For all of our clients we help (1)Identify and prioritize goals/needs, (2)Gather current and relevant financial information, (3)Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the current situation, (4)Propose realistic financial strategies, (5)Assist you with taking action/implementation and (6)Consistently review the progress toward goals.

Do you know your tolerance for investment risk?

When it comes to investing, risk and reward go hand in hand. The higher the risk, the higher the potential return, but also the greater the risk of loss.

Risk tolerance refers to your ability to endure market volatility. All investments come with some level of risk so it's important to be aware of how much volatility you can tolerate. How risk tolerant you are is important, because it is one of the basic factors in determining an appropriate investment strategy for you. Your risk tolerance can affect both the types of investments you own and the way you choose to diversify your portfolio.
