Marketing specialist

This position includes, but is not limited to, client communication and engagement, social media management, direct marketing, event marketing and website content management. The Marketing Specialist will provide creative material, develop content and assist with data verification and placement of advertising deliverables.
Responsibilities and time allocation will change over time to meet the needs of the practice and can include other duties as assigned by the advisor.
Responsibilities and time allocation:
Marketing
  • Develop and implement annual marketing plan to meet client acquisition goals.
  • Coordinate all aspects of client appreciation and prospecting events, including: Sourcing venue, securing speaker/topic, creating invitations, managing RSVP’s, compliance and post-event attendee follow-up.
  • Learn and implement Client Referral Program.
  • Procure speaking engagements.
  • Schedule prospect meetings.
  • Advisor and Team websites.
  • Social Media Management – Facebook, LinkedIn and X.
  • The Online Client Experience.
  • Client and Prospect contact.
  • Referrals and Networking.
  • Seminars and Events.
  • Local advertising and media relations.
Operation and other projects
  • Cross train in the other operational responsibilities, including, but not limited to:
    • Financial Planning: pre- and post-meeting tools and materials.
    • Client service tools and materials.
    • Transactional tools and materials.
  • Assist the team with additional projects that come up throughout the year.
Required qualifications:
  • College Degree
  • 2+ years of similar experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, outlook, TEAMS
  • Salesforce / CRM experience a plus
