Interests

Though I've traveled and lived all over the world, it was Upstate NY where I found a place I could truly feel comfortable calling home. My interests included much of what the State has to offer, but if you see something I may be missing - please point it out!

Interests include:

  • Wine and this areas wineries and those of Canada - fantastic if you haven't been
  • Travel - been to many great places
  • Reading - very much a book nerd
  • Spending time with friends and family
  • The Finger Lakes - love each one for their unique contributions to the area
  • Finance - I've spent a life accumulating financial information - its time to pay it forward

Community participation

I volunteer my time to the Cornhill Neighborhood Association Revolving Loan Fund in order to assist residents in our great neighborhood. I became involved with this organization due to the commitment the CHNA has to making Cornhill a great place to live and purchase a home.

The Revolving Fund has been established to provide loans up to $10,000 to Corn Hill property owners. The objectives of the program are:

◾Make exterior property improvements and/or interior fixed fixtures of properties within Corn Hill

◾Combat community deterioration

◾Preserve the housing stock of Corn Hill

◾Aid homeowners having the need to correct code violations
