Anytime away from work is spent with family and friends as we grow great relationships with-in our community. I enjoy getting together with friends (old and new) for good food and conversation. When not coaching the kids, I can be found running around town or through the miles of conservation land around us, as I love being outside. All sports, especially Boston based teams, are of interest to me but hockey is the game I still manage to play. I will join any adventure from the ToughMudder obstacle race, a camping trip in NH to the pre-Thanksgiving TurkeyTrot. I believe that every day has an adventure in it, looking to be uncovered.

Community participation

Over my career I have lived throughout the Northeast, but in 2012 my family settled into Woodbury CT. My wife Kelly, my two children Cameron & Delani, and our lab pup Tuukka have set roots in our community. From joining Flanders Nature Center as a land monitor, to coaching multiple sports activities we feel blessed to be a part of this community. My wife keeps our social schedule full of activities with friends and still has time to participate in our schools and playground committees.

I have been lucky enough to run the Boston Marathon in 2009,2013 & 2014 for Boston’s Children’s Hospital and we continue to support their different events.
