Community participation

I have a few passions when it comes to the community:

  • Helping underprivileged youth in the local area: I go into local schools to teach kids about money and help them prepare for college and beyond by connecting them with successful mentors in the Seattle and Bellevue business community.
  • Providing mentorship: I was in the Big Brothers program when I was a kid, and 12 years ago became a Big brother to Blake, who is now a smart, funny, and caring adult.
  • Helping kids learn the Wealth Mindset: money isn't taught in schools, which is largely why 80% of Millenials can't pass a basic financial literacy test. I go into classrooms to change this.
